IFrame Embedding

Embed a SuperFunnel page or quiz inside another site by whitelisting the domains allowed to frame it.

Overview

You can serve a SuperFunnel page or quiz inside another website using an iframe. This is useful when you want an asset to appear within a non-SuperFunnel site.

For security reasons, embedding is blocked by default. SuperFunnel only allows a page to be framed by domains you have explicitly whitelisted, which prevents anyone else from lifting your pages and serving them on their own site.

So if you want to embed a page on lp.example.com, you need to add lp.example.com to the whitelist first. Until you do, the embed will not render.

Testing locally

If you are building the host site on your own machine, add localhost to the whitelist as well.

There are two places to manage the whitelist. Setting it on the page is the safer starting point, since it only affects the asset you are enabling. Setting it on the account applies to every page in the workspace.

Whitelist Domains for a Single Page

Start here. This scopes embedding to just the page or quiz you are working on, so you do not have to think about every other asset in the workspace.

Open the page's options

Open the page, then click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.

Open Tracking

Select Tracking.

Turn on the page-level override

Toggle Customize iframe domains for this page on.

Add a domain

Enter the domain that will host the embed, for example lp.example.com.

Save

Save your settings. This page now uses its own domain list.

Whitelist Domains at the Account Level

Use this when the same domain, or set of domains, should be able to embed assets across your workspace.

Open Settings

Go to Settings. The Website tab is selected by default.

Open the Tracking section

Select Tracking.

Scroll to Iframe embedding

Scroll down past any custom conversion events until you reach the section titled Iframe embedding.

Add a domain

In the Add a domain input, enter the domain that will host the embed, for example lp.example.com. Add each domain you plan to embed on.

Save

Save your settings. The domains are now allowed to frame your pages.

Account-level domains apply to every page

Once a domain is whitelisted at the account level, every page and quiz in the workspace can be framed by it. To adjust the list for a specific page, use the page-level override instead.

Summary

While SuperFunnel was not created for iframe embedding, it is possible to do so. Please speak with a member of our team if you have questions about your use case.
