Agents & Brain

Memory

Save preferences and business rules so agents remember your patterns and improve over time.

Overview

Memory is SuperFunnel's knowledge system that lets you save business rules, design preferences, and operational patterns that agents should remember. Instead of repeating instructions every time, save them once to Memory so agents automatically apply your preferences across all your work.

Memory improves agent assistance by:

  • Reducing repetition — no need to re-explain approaches or preferences
  • Ensuring consistency — all agents apply the same business rules and preferences
  • Accelerating workflows — agents execute your standard patterns without asking for clarification
  • Capturing institutional knowledge — document how your team works so new team members learn your processes

Common Uses for Memory

  • Design patterns — standard footer layouts, header elements, color schemes, or visual effects
  • Copy guidelines — brand voice, messaging patterns, call-to-action formats
  • Optimization rules — common page improvements, form field layouts, conversion optimization approaches
  • Integration patterns — how you set up webhooks, connect CRMs, or structure data mappings
  • Calculation rules — scoring formulas, lead qualification criteria, or custom field definitions
  • Brand standards — logo usage, typography, spacing conventions

Getting Started

  1. Ask SuperAgent to remember something — during your next task, tell SuperAgent "remember this pattern" and it will add it to Memory
  2. Review and refine — go to Brain > Memory to see what's been saved and edit details as needed
  3. Set visibility — change any Account memories to User if they're personal, or vice versa
  4. Use in prompts — reference your saved memories in future prompts: "use the standard footer from Memory"

Document as you work

The best memories come from successful patterns in your actual work. As you build pages, create forms, or optimize funnels, save the approaches that work so agents can replicate them.

Adding to Memory

The easiest way to add memories is to instruct SuperAgent during your work:

  • "Remember that all our pages should have the global footer"
  • "Save this as a pattern — whenever I create a form, use this field layout"
  • "Remember to always use first person CTA text"
  • "Remember we must always have our CTA above the fold"

SuperAgent will save your instruction to Memory. You can edit or refine it later.

Manual Memory Entry

You can also manually create memories:

Go to Brain

From the workspace sidebar, click Brain, then select the Memory tab.

Click Add Memory

Click the + Add Memory button in the top right.

Enter the subject

Give your memory a clear, descriptive title (e.g., "Standard page footer", "Lead scoring formula", "Mobile form layout").

Write the details

Explain the rule, pattern, or preference in detail. Be specific — agents follow your instructions exactly.

Example:

  • Subject: Custom analytics click events (reportBFEvent)
  • Memory: "Custom click events (e.g. funnel-click, adoric-click) on Comparison pages and quizzes are fired from JS with window.reportBFEvent(eventName, propsObject) — NOT window.reportEvent. Verified working pattern from Adoric tracking custom code on the best-gold-ira-ahg page: guard with if (typeof window.reportBFEvent === 'function')"

Set visibility

Choose who should have access:

  • Account — all team members can see and use this memory
  • User — only you can see this memory (useful for personal preferences or drafts)

Save

Click Save changes to add the memory.

Editing and Managing Memory

Hover over any memory to see the edit and delete icons:

  • Edit icon — update the memory when your preferences change or you want to refine the instructions
  • Delete icon — remove the memory if it's no longer relevant
  • Toggle — switch between Account and User visibility without editing

Updating memories

When you edit a memory, agents will use the new version on future tasks. Past conversations won't change, but new requests will apply the updated rules.

Memory Visibility: Account vs User

When you save a memory, choose who it applies to:

LevelAccessUse case
AccountAll team members see and use this memoryStandard design patterns, brand guidelines, business rules your whole team follows
UserOnly you see and use this memoryPersonal preferences, experimental patterns, rules specific to your workflow

A team member can ask SuperAgent to use an Account memory they created, or you can ask SuperAgent to refer to someone else's Account memory by name.

Example Memories in Use

When you work with agents, they reference your saved memories:

  • You ask SuperAgent to build a landing page, and it automatically applies your standard footer design, color scheme, and copy style from Memory
  • You request form optimization, and agents apply your saved field layout pattern and conversion approaches
  • You instruct an agent to analyze page speed, and it checks your Memory for known performance issues and optimization patterns to consider
  • You create a new integration, and agents apply your webhook setup pattern or field mapping rules from Memory

Summary

The most effective way to use Memory is to save patterns as you work. When SuperAgent suggests something that works, or when you find a successful approach, tell it to remember it — this prevents you from repeating the same explanations and makes agents smarter over time.

Best practices:

  • Ask SuperAgent to remember things — avoid explaining the same preferences multiple times by saving them
  • Regularly review your memories — go to Brain > Memory every few weeks to see what's accumulated and clean up outdated rules
  • Update your prompts based on what you've learned — if you discover a better way to do something, update the memory so agents learn from your improvements
  • Share Account memories with your team — document team standards so all agents apply consistent rules across your workspace

Over time, your Memory becomes a personalized knowledge base that makes SuperAgent faster, more accurate, and more aligned with how you work.
