Billing

How billing works in SuperFunnel.

Overview

Your SuperFunnel billing reflects your current usage limits across three dimensions:

  • Pages — the number of pages you can publish in your workspace
  • Workspace members — the number of team members you can invite
  • AI credits — the amount of AI usage available for building and running your funnels

Within SuperFunnel, you can navigate to Settings > Billing to see additional details. The Usage tab provides information, including how many AI Credits were used.

For full details about your plan, pricing, or to make any changes, reach out to support@superfunnel.ai.

Topping Up AI Credits

SuperFunnel tries to make AI Credit cost and usage transparent. However, rates are based on providers and fluctuate. Consider changing AI Model and running manual changes to reduce costs.

Using Your Own API Key

If you'd rather not draw down AI credits at all, you can connect a custom model with your own provider from Agent Settings. Agents then call that model directly, and you're billed by your provider instead of through SuperFunnel. See Bring Your Own API Key for setup steps.

Tips to Reduce AI Credit Usage

Here's how to get more done per credit:

  • Make changes manually when they're simple. If you already know exactly what to change and have the access to do it, editing directly is faster than using an agent. See Manually Edit Pages.
    • Revert instead of re-prompting. If you accepted changes that do not work out, restoring a previous version through Version History is free, versus prompting an agent to undo it. This only works if you've been publishing, so publish early and often. See Version History.
    • Use Update Links for bulk link swaps. Swapping a link across many pages with the dedicated tool is one operation, versus asking an agent to find and edit each instance. See Update Links.
  • Be precise with prompts. A vague prompt makes an agent scan more of your workspace to figure out what you mean. Select (or describe) the specific component, section, or asset you want changed whenever you can. See Prompt Best Practices.
  • Batch similar work, start fresh for a different objective. SuperFunnel's Agents support a large context window, so several small, independent tasks with similar context, like a handful of text updates, are fine to bundle into one chat. A long history of unrelated topics still gets scanned in full on every message, so start a fresh chat once you move to a different section or objective. See Prompt Best Practices.
  • Use CMS wherever possible. Updating a CMS collection applies the change everywhere it's used in a single pass, which is faster and cheaper than prompting an agent to find and edit each instance. Rearranging cards can take seconds instead of minutes. See Content Management System (CMS).
  • Copy instead of recreating. Duplicating pages and variants, reusing favorite or global sections, or even copying and pasting the HTML from a section, is instant and free. Save agent prompts for changes you can't get with copy and paste. See Page Variants and Reusable Sections.
  • Save recurring preferences to Memory. If you find yourself re-explaining anything, like brand colors, tone, or a layout rule, in prompt after prompt, save it to Memory. Agents apply it automatically on future tasks, so you don't spend a prompt restating it. See Memory.
  • Match the model to the task. Switch to a cheaper model for simple, well-defined changes, and save the more capable models for tasks that need deeper reasoning. See AI Model Selection.

Summary

SuperFunnel expects you to use Agents for most tasks, but provides endless mechanisms of reducing costs. And if you're really looking to cut costs, our CS agents work for free. Just shoot them a message.
