Zapier

Automatically send leads to your CRM, track abandoned carts, and analyze page events.

Overview

The SuperFunnel Zapier integration allows you to connect your pages to over 6,000 apps without coding. When a visitor interacts with your SuperFunnel page, it automatically sends their data to tools like Salesforce or Monday.com in real-time. This seamless connection enables you to automate lead management, recover abandoned carts, and analyze user behavior across your funnels.

Two Ways to Connect Zapier

This guide refers to the Zapier integration. You can also connect Zapier using our Webhooks integration.

Understanding field structure

When mapping data between SuperFunnel and Zapier, first understand how SuperFunnel fields are structured. See Field Mapping for details on field types and query parameters.

Additionally, understand the field structure in your destination. For CRMs, you may need to create new fields or edit existing fields to accept the data sent from SuperFunnel. For Google Sheets, you need to define the requested fields using the header row of your relevant sheet.

Available Triggers

SuperFunnel supports three types of events that you can use to trigger workflows in Zapier:

  1. New Lead (Recommended for CRMs): Triggered when a user submits a form.

  2. Partial Lead (Recover Abandoned Carts): Triggered incrementally as a user interacts with a form.

  3. Page Event (Analytics): Triggered by user interactions on your page, such as page views, scrolls, or button clicks.

Step-by-Step Guide to Connecting Zapier

Install the SuperFunnel for Zapier app

Add the SuperFunnel app to your Zapier account.

1.a. Click this invite link: SuperFunnel for Zapier.
1.b. Click Accept Invite & Build a Zap to add SuperFunnel to your available apps.

Begin creating Zap in Zapier

Create a new Zap to connect SuperFunnel to your destination app.

2a. Create a new Zap.
2b. Choose one of the three triggers. An explanation is provided above.

Rinse partial leads before they reach your CRM

Partial Lead fires at every step, so it can flood downstream tools with half-finished records. Add a Filter in Zapier that only continues when a key field such as email or phone is present. This keeps your CRM clean while still recovering genuinely contactable leads.

Alternatively, use a webhook and filter SuperFunnel data before data is sent to Zapier.

Connect your SuperFunnel Account

To secure the connection between SuperFunnel and Zapier, you will need an API Key.

3.a. Log in to your SuperFunnel account.
3.b. Navigate to your Settings > Integrations and click on the Zapier card.
3.c. Click Issue token and Copy the API Key to use in your Zap.

This key is sent in the standard HTTP Authorization header to verify the sender.

Finish your Zap setup

Back in Zapier, complete your connection.

4a. Finish connecting SuperFunnel by pasting the API Key into the authentication field.
4b. Add additional Apps, AI, Flow Control, Utilities and Zapier Products as needed.

Publish and Test

Be sure to run end-to-end tests to ensure that data is sent correctly.

Troubleshooting Notes

If Zaps are not working as expected, reach out to support or try the following:

  1. Check the expected data is found in SuperFunnel.
  2. Open your browser's Network Panel. Within SuperFunnel, go to Integrations > Webhooks to confirm your connection was established.
  3. Check your Zap History to see previous runs for anomalies or errors.
  4. Reinitiate the SuperFunnel for Zapier app. If needed, rotate your API Key or details.
  5. Run tests with Zap to see data is received, parsed and sent to your destination as expected.
  6. Run end-to-end tests of your flow.

You may reuse the SuperFunnel for Zapier app in as many Zaps as needed. However, we recommend using a single Zap for all SuperFunnel data to simplify maintenance.

Summary

Now that you have connected Zapier, be sure to create lead generating forms to collect data and test the connection. Reach out to support if you have any questions or need help with your integration.
